Terms and Conditions of Sale – StarHope SAS

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of posters on www.starhope.ai.

2. Products

Printed posters

The products sold are A2 and A3 posters, printed on demand via the Gelato printing service.
Colour, brightness and final rendering may vary slightly depending on screens and production centres.
Images are non-contractual but representative of the final product.

Printed books & ebooks

The books offered are printed on demand via the Lulu service provider and are available in printed format and as ebooks (PDF format, subject to device compatibility).
Minor variations in rendering may occur depending on screens, printing facilities and reading devices.
The visuals presented are for illustrative purposes only and are non-contractual.
As the books are printed on demand, they are considered goods made according to the customer’s specifications.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros, VAT included ..
Applicable VAT rate: 20 %.
The VAT rate for printed books may be reduced depending on the country.
Shipping fees are displayed before order confirmation.
Ebooks are provided in PDF format and are readable on most devices.

4. Orders

An order is considered confirmed when:

  • payment has been successfully processed,
  • the customer receives an order confirmation email,
  • an invoice is automatically generated.

StarHope reserves the right to cancel any order in case of fraud or payment issues.

5. Payment

Orders can be paid via:

  • Credit/debit card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
  • PayPal

Transactions are secured by the respective payment providers.
StarHope does not store any banking information..

6. Delivery

Printed posters (Gelato)

The posters are printed and shipped through Gelato, an international print-on-demand provider.
Gelato operates production centres in Europe, the United States, Australia and other regions, enabling local delivery in most countries.

Average delivery times:
• France / Europe: 3 to 7 business days
• United States / Canada: 3 to 8 business days
• Rest of the world: 5 to 12 business days

These timelines include both production and shipping.

StarHope is not responsible for delays caused by:
• incorrect addresses provided by the customer,
• carriers,
• customs procedures for non-EU countries.

A tracking number is provided as soon as the order is shipped.

Printed books (Lulu)

  • Printing and shipping are handled via Lulu. Lulu
  • Estimated delivery times: 12 to 14 business days.
  • These delays include:
    • production,
    • shipping,
    • international delivery.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • the address provided by the customer,
    • customs for non-EU countries,
    • carriers.

7. Right of withdrawal

Printed posters

In accordance with French consumer law, the customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal , provided the poster is not personalised.

The product must be returned in its original, unused condition.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

StarHope will issue a refund within 14 days after receiving the returned product.

Printed books

No right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code)
Because they are:

  • printed on demand,
  • made according to the customer’s specifications.

Ebooks (PDF)

No right of withdrawal after download

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the customer expressly acknowledges and accepts that access to digital content (PDF ebook) results in the loss of the right of withdrawal.

8. Legal Guarantees

Products benefit from the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects under applicable French law.

9. Intellectual Property

Posters, writings, designs and visuals are protected.
Any reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

10. Personal Data

Data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the registered office of StarHope.
