A Promise That Flatters Dependence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Telling the world <em>\u201cyou will no longer need to work\u201d<\/em> is not neutral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This discourse primarily appeals to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>individuals exhausted by dehumanizing work systems,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>populations already dependent on aid or centralized structures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>societies experiencing a collective loss of meaning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The implicit promise is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cDelegate effort, responsibility, and production.<br>The system will take care of you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But a society that values <strong>de-responsibilization<\/strong> prepares <strong>dependent individuals<\/strong>, not free ones.\nIt would be a society centered on entertainment, irresponsibility, and dependence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The Real Issue: Control of the Labor Force<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout history, real power has always belonged to those who controlled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>land,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>then machines,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>then energy,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and today: <strong>data, algorithms, and autonomous systems.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If AI and robotics become the primary productive force:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>who owns them?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>who governs them?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>who decides how the generated wealth is allocated?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this model, redistribution (universal basic income, credits, aid) is no longer a fundamental right, but a <strong>conditional concession<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who control production control:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>subsistence,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>therefore the opposition that can be expressed,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and thus real freedom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is no longer a democratic economy, but a form of <strong>technological feudalism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. The Trap of Fa\u00e7ade Humanism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discourse is skillful: it borrows the language of humanism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cliberating humanity\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201creducing suffering\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201csharing abundance\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But authentic humanism:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>distributes power<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>makes systems <strong>contestable<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>guarantees autonomy and plurality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fa\u00e7ade humanism:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>centralizes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>obscures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>conditions access to resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>uses \u201cappealing\u201d rhetoric to legitimize an agenda of domination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The danger is not technology.<br>The danger is the <strong>power asymmetry that technology can crystallize<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Work Is Not Just a Job: It Is Meaning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every psychologically healthy person knows this intuitively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work \u2014 in the broad sense, not alienated employment \u2014 provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>structure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>recognition,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>social usefulness,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dignity,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a place within the collective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eliminating work without redefining the <strong>meaning of human action<\/strong>creates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>apathy,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>depression,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>radicalization,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a loss of civilizational reference points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A society without chosen contribution is not a peaceful society.<br>It is an <strong>anesthetized \u2014 or explosive \u2014 one<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
